Welcome to Gold Coast Piano Tuning & Restoration. My name is Paul and I tune and restore pianos in the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. I charge a flat rate of $220.00 for a tuning (excludes repairs).

I average 3 hours to tune an instrument (more accordingly if any repairs are needed). I will do up to 1 hours worth of mechanical repair work free of charge. If there is any more than 1 hour of mechanical repair work required, we can address that at the time. If the customer only wants a few mechanical issues to be addressed like a couple of sticking keys or a faulty pedal etc and doesn't want a tuning, I charge a minimum call-out fee of $100.00

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:
I also do pre-purchase inspections on pianos. Sadly, a lot of people get caught out with purchasing a piano without having it inspected first. People can fall for the externals of a beautiful looking piano and though it may look delightful on the outside, the internal mechanisms may have many issues that will end up costing a fortune to repair. I totally advise a pre-purchase inspection prior to purchasing any second hand piano. I charge a flat rate of $80.00 for pre-purchase piano inspections.
